DC's Legends of Tomorrow S04E16 - Hey, World! Review

The legends did what they do best again in the Season 4 finale - "being the chainsaw" according to Rip Hunter. Stopped Ne-Ray (Neron in Ray's body) and Tabitha in style and even teased more fun for the next season ( Vandal Savage might be back.. 👀) After discovering that Ne-Ray (Neron in Ray's body) and Tabitha planned to use fear as a source of energy to open the gateway to hell where the people who have downloaded his weird app will be sent there and his goons from over there will come over. The legends planned to fight fear in the most hilarious of ways using a magical book that lets whatever a user draws in it to come to life; Nate whipped up HeyWorld! (a fantasy theme park that his Dad wanted to create for him). The plan was for humans to come to the park to understand that magical creatures shouldn't be feared. Using the reputation of what was called the trinity (Supergirl, Green Arrow and Flash), they managed to invite lots of people to come to the ...

The Flash S05E22 - Legacy Review

Well.. An end has come to the whole paradox with Team Flash, the Cicadas and Eobard Thawne. One thing the show maintained throughout this season was its references to Season 1 in terms of words and action. Like Thawne deceiving Nora and training her just as he did for Barry.. Finally, Team Flash got Thawne's plan thanks to Ralph who had to take a hit from the "dagger-destroying gun" and Sherloque who did the explanation leaving the team with two choices: stopping Cicada or stopping Thawne. But as time will have it, Thawne's plan was somewhat inevitable and the dagger still had to be destroyed. I really liked Cicada's idea of going to the night of the particular accelerator explosion to kill all the meta humans before they got their powers, but that didn't happen 😏.. That could have been incorporated in one of the previous episodes though, if only 🚶🏽‍.. Time travel has been one of the major elements of the show from the first season and seeing it being ex...

DC's Legends of Tomorrow S04E15 - Terms of Service Review

Another hilarious episode from the Legends setting up the season finale in dramatic fashion. Neron still remains the villain for this fourth season, a demon currently in Ray Palmer and he displayed more intellect in this episode. By using Ray Palmer's reputation and resources, he claims to have figured a way to stop magical creatures from hurting people and invites them to a tech event called PalmerX with the tagline "the power is in the palm(er) of your hands".. 😂 Part of the episode focuses on an underrated character ( Gary Green ) that was introduced in Season 3. After he helped Neron take over the time bureau , he became a host for the fairy godmother , making wishes that she will fulfill. As the legends plan an assault at the bureau, Gary makes a wish for Sara, Ava and Mona to be in book club which his own way of protecting the legends from the wrath of the fairy godmother. She had been trying to manipulate him into making a wish that will lead to bad stuff for ...

Arrow S07E22 - You Have Saved This City Review

CW's Arrow is slowly fading away and that was pretty much sealed in the seventh season's finale. It was a great episode with action and emotion setting up the flash-forwards we've been seeing in style. It started with Team Arrow having the deja vu experience of being "public enemy number one" and running away from the cops as they once did in Season 3. This episode marked the return of some certain individuals adding more loveliness to the season finale -  Curtis Holt (Mr Terrific) ,  Ben Turner (Bronze Tiger)  and  Laurel-2 . The team focused on evacuating people from a public location in the city where the bio-weapon Emiko stole was to be used. This is where Ben Turner came in, bro had to punch a civilian who was being stubborn at Oliver and also said "he's trying to save you dumbass"   😆 The weapon was dispersed and although Oliver stopped the drones as fast as he could with his arrows, there were some casualties. Felicity and Curtis located t...

It's Trivia Time..😊

In the world of Marvel and DC, there are so many things that could be classified as trivia. This is just a compilation of some of them that we might know or not.. Feel free to add yours or send a comment about anyone. Aiit.. Enough intro. Here we go 😎 Did you know that Spider-Man has teamed up with every other superhero in Marvel at one point in time? Did you know that Magneto is capable of removing all the metal inside Wolverine's claws? Did you know that Iron Fist once took on the identity of Daredevil? Did you know that any speedster is capable of running on the clouds in the atmosphere just like they can run on water? Did you know that Mystique is Nightcrawler's mother? Did you know Spider-Man had a costume that was white when he joined the Fantastic Four? Did you know Ms Marvel and Captain Marvel are two different people? Did you know Wolverine is older than Professor X? Did you know Hulk has gotten married before? Did you know that there's a Nigerian mutan...

The Flash S05E21 - The Girl With the Red Lightning Review

Honestly, this was another 'mixed reaction' episode setting up a finale to look up to. Major events comes down to  Cicada II (Grace Gibbons) assembling some devices along with her infamous dagger to kill all the meta-humans in the city, and even the world at large. 😏 Team Flash tries to stop her from getting all these devices but they are unable to as she's a step ahead of them.  Barry and  Iris are forced to make a decision they don't like with their daughter ( Nora ) by allowing her to use her mind connection with Grace to get her current location. That was like their only option though because Grace had everything she needed to kill all the meta-humans. There was a little bit of a reference to the first incarnation of the Justice League animation where Wally West had to run a bomb the Joker planted in Gotham out of the city in less than a second - this time, Barry had to run out of a building that was about to explode in less than a second.. 😐 There's ano...

DC's Legends Of Tomorrow S04E14 - Nip/Stuck Review

Legends of Tomorrow has never been a TV show devoid of the action, comedy, really weird stuff and lots more. And their latest episode wasn't an exception..  Brandon Routh  delivered a wonderful acting performance as the demon (Neron) in Ray Palmer. I was so used to Ray being the funny and cool genius that seeing him all dark and evil was kinda surprising 😂 Neron also seems to have the ability to utilize his host's intelligence as he did with Ray in this episode. First, he takes John Constantine  to the ice age as bait for the legends to be trapped there. Then he sends Gary to the time bureau to distract them by nip-notizing them 😂 "Nip-notizing" - Gary had lost his nipple in the first episode when John Constantine sent the first magical creature (a unicorn) the legends encountered to hell. Neron restored this nipple which now has magical properties of hypnotism. So Gary used this to influence all the members of the time bureau to keep them distracted from Nero...

Arrow S07E21 - "Living Proof" Review

A really good episode culminating in the showdown between Oliver Queen and his half sister, Emiko Queen. Spoilers ahead for Arrow S07E21... This episode continued from where the previous one stopped where Oliver and his team are trapped in the remains/rubble of a building rigged to explode by Emiko who is driven by hatred of the Queen family as she was abandoned by her father (Robert Queen). Major focus of this episode at least in the present day is Oliver's approach to Emiko. Is she still his half sister or a villain? This is explored as an hallucination that Oliver has about his best friend, Tommy Merlyn who was fun to watch. He gave us a reference to how he died in the first season which is similar to Oliver's current situation (trapped under rubble). He also joked about both of them having half sisters and that he was dead before his sister could try to kill him unlike Oliver.. Lol First, he helps Oliver out of the rubble and jokes about his broken bow which Olive...
